Joe Soler was raised in a Seventh Day Adventist home where being in service to his Spiritual Community was the example he received from a very young age through doing missionary work and opening Hispanic SDA Churches in Orlando, Avon Park and Miami, Florida.

As an adult he was called “The Positive Energy Guy” attracted to Wayne Dyer, Eckhart Tolle, Louis Hayes, Don Miguel Ruiz and all mystical teachings he was in the vibration of sharing loving energy and uplifting others as he walked in his life journey.

In 2013 he walked into Fort Lauderdale CSL where he found a community that was inclusive and celebrated diversity and honored all paths to a spiritual expression in life.

In 2017 Living in Orlando as the caregiver for his father, he came across GOCSL where he and his husband Roke Cabrera found their Spiritual home. Since then he has been in service in the Leadership Council, Building Fiduciary and Graduated in 2021 as a licensed Practitioner in the first group of home educated practitioner’s.

William Watson, I moved to Central Florida from Texas in 1990 to work for the watermelon industry. I now offer consulting to the leaders of many ag promotion groups and self-help trade groups. I have been interested in new thought ever since I can remember. It feel authentic. Deborah and I have been together since 1989, and married since 1990. She has been a wonderful partner and is a part of my spiritual growth as we continue our quest for knowledge.

Cindy was born and raised in the Northwest corner of Alabama. She graduated from Sheffield High School and the University of North Alabama. After her graduation, Cindy moved to Houston, Texas, became a CPA and spent many years in the financial realm. She has also lived in Des Moines, Iowa; Mount Pleasant, South Carolina; Birmingham, Alabama and for the last several years in Orlando, Florida.

In 1984, she attended her first Center for Spiritual Living (then known as Church of Religious Science) and found the Science of Mind and Spirit philosophy she has been studying and applying ever since.

Cindy attended the Holmes Institute, graduated with her Masters in Consciousness Studies and was Ordained in 2018 while serving as Co-Minister of Greater Orlando CSL.

Cindy is married to Paul Shellum. They are retired and travel the world enjoying beautiful people and places. Then they come home and do the same!

Cindy says this about our philosophy, “Before I walked into my first Religious Science service, I only had my personally concocted belief system and a jumble of questionable information from traditional Christianity. Without these teachings, I might have found myself moving away from my own truth as I lived in and of the world of separation and fear without support. But Science of Mind gave me a full context for my beliefs and introduced me to the Universal Truths discovered by mystics and philosophers throughout time. I discovered I am not weird and my beliefs are not wacky! This world is not separate from God and there is nothing to fear. I am not and cannot be alone.”

Sheryl Cattell is the Founder and CEO of Allmaya, LLC Coaching and an award-winning digital marketer. Former CMO/VP of marketing turned educator and life coach, she shares her time between being a mental health coach at Lyra Health and teaching marketing classes for undergrad and graduate students at Florida Atlantic University. Past career highlights include digital executive positions at Bank of America, Mary Kay, and Travelocity, including ten years at Bluegreen Resorts and eight years at Dow Corning, where she lived and worked overseas for four years in Brussels, Belgium.

Sheryl is the founder and past president of two non-profit interactive marketing associations in South Florida and Dallas. She has taught at top universities, including the University of Virginia McIntire School of Business, The University of San Francisco, and Central Michigan University. She graduated from Michigan State University and has an MBA degree from Central Michigan University.

Sheryl is a Level 2 Master Certified Life Coach from Certified Life Coach Institute 2020, a Hatha Yoga & Pranayama Certified Instructor from Integral Yoga International and a graduate of the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course offered by the University of Massachusetts Medical School.

Sheryl started her “New Thought” path at a Unity Church in Indianapolis in 1997, which eventually led her to CSL Dallas, where she took her first “life-changing” Foundations Course with Dr. Petra Weldes. In 2003, she moved for her job and started attending CSL Ft. Lauderdale, where she met her wife Toni and studied with Arleen Bump and Jim Lockard. In 2008, She and her wife were married by Dr. David Bruner CSL San Jose, where Toni attended before returning to Ft. Lauderdale and where it was legal for them to marry. Sheryl & Toni moved to Greater Orlando a few months ago to be closer to their grandkids and youngest son and his wife. Sheryl recently graduated from Practitioner Training.

I am a mother, wife, artist, and peer mentor. I have been spiritual all of my life, seeing the beauty and spirituality in nature and all of my surroundings. For many years, I dismissed my spirituality, letting everyday life take over as it often does.

I regained my spiritual self within the past two years, and there I found GOCSL. The community and inclusive nature of everyone, along with the positive message and teachings kept me coming back. I am now a member of the board and look to enrich my spirituality by learning more through the study of Science of Mind.
